There are many reasons for rejection.  Empire World would need to review all of the documents submitted to the Immigration Department to assess whether there were any mistakes in the application.

You can find your case number on the top left hand corner of the letter from the Immigration Department.

Usually the Immigration Department will take 4-6 weeks to reconsider (sometimes more).

Yes, you are allowed to appeal any rejections from the Immigration Department.

I am holding a working visa which will expire 1 week later, but i got rejected for an extension.  Do I have to return to my country whilst I am appealing the decision?

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    

No, you can stay in Hong Kong whilst your appeal in being processed, even if your working visa expires.
